The Reverend Mary Haggerty
Priest in Charge

Mary Haggerty is a native of Los Angeles where she received her degree in psychology from Loyola Marymount university. In 1997, Mary earned a Master of Arts degree in psychology from Regis University in Denver. Mary recently completed her Master of Divinity degree at the School of Theology at the University of the South, fondly known as Sewanee. She was ordained to the priesthood on July 11, 2020 at St. Barnabas and started her work as priest-in-charge on July 15th. Mary has worked as a librarian, a parent educator, a volunteer program director, and has been active in social justice with the church for many years. Mary is also a certified Spiritual Director.
Mary and Bill Haggerty have been married for 40 years and have 4 grown children and 5 grandchildren. Bill's work has taken them all around the country and overseas. Mary and Bill are happy to finally be settled in their adopted home of St. Louis. Mary is an avid cook and loves nothing better than to gather people around the table to feed them. In her free time Mary knits and reads and takes long walks in the beautiful parks around St. Louis.

Marian Linck

Marian is a lifetime resident of North St Louis County, growing up in "Castle Point", having raised her family in Corpus Christi Parish in Jennings and currently living in a 120+ year old house in Old Ferguson.
Marian's past experience includes being a Dental Assistant, Student Coordinator at Saint Louis University where she completed her BA in Organizational Studies, and as a receptionist for an engineering company in Downtown St Louis.
Rich and Marian have been married 41 years and have 2 grown sons and 3 grand-daughters. Rich is a structural engineer with the same firm since graduating from UMR.
Rich and Marian enjoy biking the Katy Trail, traveling ANYWHERE that has a beach, and visiting National Parks. They have a beautiful rescued Blue Staffie (dog) named Grady who is still learning his manners, but he is a good boy and he makes them laugh every day. Marian loves dogs and tries to pet every one she sees.

Leah Milton

Leah Milton has been the St. Barnabas' Adult Choir Director since Fall 2002 and was named the Director of Music in January 2018. She graduated with honors from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville in December 2003, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education, with emphasis in piano accompaniment and voice. She studied piano with Dr. Linda Perry, voice with Ms. Sandra Bouman, and was a member of the SIUE Concert Choir and SIUE Madrigal Choir, both under the direction of Dr. Joel Knapp.
Along with directing the adult choir and providing keyboard support for services at St. Barnabas, Leah is a 5th and 6th Grade General Music teacher and chorus accompanist at Dorris Intermediate School in Collinsville, IL. She also teaches private piano and voice lessons to students in the St. Louis area. During her free time, Leah is an active member of the Bel Canto Chorus of St. Louis, under the direction of Dr. Bruce Vantine, and can often be found performing in musical theater with Summer Showbiz at SIUE and Hawthorne Players in Florissant.
